new shoes

with sparkle

on the strap.

Jennie’s got some

green gloves

and a black

baseball cap.

Jennie’s got a

hairband

and socks up

to her knee.

Jennie’s got a

friend who

is cleverer

than me.

Jennie’s got a

lunchbox

to keep her

yogurt cold.

Jennie’s got a

puppy

to hug and

love and hold.

daddy

who lifts her

up so high.
